As a teacher I am open and encouraging. I feel that positivity and inspiration in teaching creative disciplines is key for pupils to feel comfortable enough to experiment, to fail, to
leave their comfort zones. This is in turn facilitates creativity, innovation and interdisciplinarity. Thus, when I teach it is within a larger framework of ideas, attitudes, energy, and structure. Like the composition or performance process itself, lessons can be wide-ranging.
In one-to-one lessons, I create individual learning plans for each student, depending on their goals and ability level, tailoring a course that challenges each student in an enjoyable and stimulating way. From complete beginners to seasoned musicians and composers, I’m able to customise a study plan for all ability levels
